Job Purpose: The Food & Products Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality, visually appealing images of menu items from TipTop Suppliers, ensuring accuracy and consistency, editing photos to meet visual standards and collaborating with the commercial team ensuring high quality standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality images of food and beverages from suppliers, ensuring each item is styled and presented attractively.
- Work directly with restaurant staff and chefs to coordinate photo shoots and ensure food is prepared and presented as intended.
- Use photo editing software to enhance images, adjust lighting, and correct colors to meet visual standards.
- Follow a consistent style guide to maintain uniformity across all restaurant images and adapt techniques to fit the app’s aesthetic.
- Organize and catalog images in a digital library for easy access and retrieval, ensuring proper tagging and categorization.
- Adhere to food safety protocols to maintain hygiene and avoid contamination during photo shoots, handling food items with care.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align photo shoots with promotional campaigns and provide high-resolution images for various uses.
- Keep up with current food photography trends and techniques to ensure modern and appealing imagery, experimenting with new styles as needed.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of photography equipment, staying updated on the latest technology and tools relevant to food photography.
Soft and technical Skills:
- Proficiency in photo editing software to enhance and refine images.
- Skilled in food styling to highlight the best features of dishes.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and adherence to food safety standards
- Creativity in experimenting with new techniques and styles.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with restaurant staff and commercial teams.
Experience: 1-2 years of work experience.
Languages: Advanced Kurdish and Arabic with good English
Education Degree: Diploma or Bachelor
