Job Summary
The Auto Dealer Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the efficient operation of the dealership’s sales processes. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales documentation, processing transactions, and assisting customers throughout the buying process.
- Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the sales team in preparing sales contracts and financing paperwork.
* Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Customer Interaction:
* Greet and provide assistance to customers entering the dealership.
* Address customer inquiries and provide information about vehicle inventory, and financing options.
- Transaction Processing:
* Process vehicle sales transactions and maintain a digital record of sales data.
*Coordinate with finance and insurance departments to facilitate customer financing and insurance options.
- Inventory Management:
* Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vehicles, including stock availability and sales status.
* Assist in preparing vehicle titles and registration paperwork for sold vehicles.
- Reporting and Analysis:
* Generate regular sales reports and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and goals.
6. Administrative Duties:
* Ensure all sales-related paperwork is properly organized and filed.
* Coordinate with other departments, including service and parts, to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Compliance:
* Ensure adherence to dealership policies, industry regulations, and state/federal laws concerning vehicle sales and financing.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
* (5) years Previous experience in an automotive dealership or sales administration role is highly desirable.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and dealership management software.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* A customer-focused mentality with a positive attitude.
