RELYANT Global, LLC is seeking an experienced BMW Technician to serve on a large Department of State opportunity in Iraq.
Responsibilities
The BMW Technician will serve the VMSS task order in support of the U.S. Department of State (DOS). Perform major mechanical repairs specializing in BMW Vehicles.
- Perform diagnosis on customer and dealership vehicles.
- Use OEM and aftermarket scan tools to diagnose various no start, vehicle performance issues, squeaks, rattles, and suspension concerns.
- Communicate what parts department and needed parts for repair.
- Keep abreast of latest repair techniques.
- Complete all approved repairs from start to finish.
- Utilization of video multi-point inspections
- Assure quality control with all vehicles through safe practices of wearing safety glasses and hard-toes shoes and slip resistant footwear.
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Advanced knowledge of diesel, gasoline and electric engine/motor maintenance and repair.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs independently.
- Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Five (5) years as a mechanic.
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Valid driver's license from home of record.
Clearance Level
- US Citizen and TCN personnel: MRPT determination issued by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS/SI/PSS) prior to contract performance.
