Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Spa Manager to join our spa in Baghdad, Iraq. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving the success of our spa.
- Assist in managing day-to-day spa operations to meet business objectives and maintain high standards of service
- Collaborate with the Recreation Manager to develop and implement long-term strategies and performance benchmarks
- Lead and motivate a team of therapists, technicians, and front desk staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and support
- Create and manage staff schedules aligned with business demands and special events
- Ensure all team members are trained to the highest standard and deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Promote and sell spa services and treatments to maximize revenue
- Assist in planning and executing spa promotions and seasonal packages
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star hotel
- Excellent knowledge of spa operations, treatments, and current industry trends
- Solution-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in spa management software and point-of-sale systems
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in spa settings
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
