Job Summary:
AR & Cash officer will be responsible for handling all cash related operations in addition to manage the entire Account Receivables according to Talia Limited – Iraq policy and regulation
Responsibilities:
- Full process and follow up of Accounts receivables and cash payments related to Account Payables including emails follow up.
- Talia Limited – Iraq safes full process of cash on hand maintenance.
- Ensuring all supplier statements kept and checked for any unpaid invoices.
- Responds to customers or vendors queries concerning payments of invoices.
- Identifies and seeks reimbursement for all personal and formal employee’s cash advances and their settlements.
- Researching and resolving account receivables discrepancies.
- Processing and recording account receivables transactions, including checking CRM for billing information.
- Generate and maintain AR invoices on monthly basis, send them to relevant customers and follow up accordingly.
- Maintaining records regarding receivables payments and account statuses.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better payment terms.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
- Prepare and generate weekly, monthly, and annual Cash and AR reports and statements for internal use.
- Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
- Supporting rest of finance team in case needed.
- Perform any other task that might be requested by financial controller.
Skills & Qualifications:
- The Accounts Receivable & Cash Officer should have formal accounting training at the college or business school level
- 3 years of experience or (for non-financial and accounting certified) at least 3 – 5 years practical experience in the same role.
- Performing all duties and responsibilities related to the complete cash management cycle and AR process management.
- Experience of ERP such as SAP, MS Dynamics is considered an asset.
- Experience in CRM is considered an asset as well
