Job Title: Shoe Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shoe Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for footwear, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in retail management. The Shoe Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining store appearance and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Drive store sales and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay informed about the latest footwear trends and product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Schedule and assign tasks to employees, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure accuracy.
- Manage product displays, ensuring they are visually appealing and aligned with company standards.
- Store Operations:
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Handle cash management, including opening and closing procedures, and daily cash reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage store expenses to stay within budget.
- Marketing & Promotions:
- Plan and execute in-store promotions and events to drive foot traffic and sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local marketing initiatives.
- Utilize social media and other platforms to promote the store and engage with the community.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to upper management on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in footwear or fashion retail.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet targets.
- Proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions:
