A Snapshot of Your Day
As an O&M Storekeeper you will maintain an accurate inventory system, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines while leading the storage and issuance of materials. Responsibilities include verifying stock against purchase orders, maintaining detailed records of inventory transactions, and providing outstanding support to internal teams and external collaborators.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for quantity, quality, and accuracy, while maintaining an organized inventory system and conducting regular stock audits to reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage of goods to prevent damage, label and arrange items systematically for easy identification, and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Issue materials and supplies to departments based on requests, while recording all stock movements and maintaining detailed records of issued goods.
- Verify that received goods match purchase orders and invoices, supervise stock shelf life, and report necessary actions to the responsible department.
- Enforce safety guidelines to keep the store area hazard-free, ensure proper handling of hazardous materials, and comply with company policies and legal regulations regarding inventory and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, generate reports on stock levels and movements, assist with audits, and report damaged or lost items for proper disposal and archiving.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent experience (bachelor’s degree may be preferred for some roles).
- Validated experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory-related role.
- Proven understanding of inventory management and stock control systems.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Typically work in a warehouse or store environment.
- May require standing, lifting, and coordinating materials for extended periods.
