The Human Resources (HR) Associate is an essential part of the organization, playing a key role in supporting various HR functions. This position involves reviewing HR policies, processes, and procedures under the guidance of the HR Manager, while ensuring that these frameworks align with the organization’s strategic goals. In addition to these responsibilities, the HR Associate provides comprehensive HR support, demonstrating careful attention to detail in daily operations and diligently following up on various HR processes to ensure smooth execution. Through their dedication and efforts, the HR Associate help create an inspiring and productive workplace environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with tasks related to employment verification, annual physicals, licensing and certification tracking, award management, and key control.
- Resolve issues, update the system, and maintain personnel electronic files to support the management of human resources information systems (HRIS).
- Aid in staffing and personnel reporting activities, including I-9 updates, Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) form updates, personnel status (PERSTAT) reports, job descriptions, and other miscellaneous reports.
- Assists with tasks related to progressive discipline, maintains the progressive discipline tracker, manages Base Defense Act (DBA) submissions, and processes personnel changes (promotions, reassignments, salary adjustments, duty title changes, etc.).
- Manages the Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA) process and Reasonable Accommodations.
- Facilitates out-processing tasks, supports employee retention efforts, and provides miscellaneous HR-related employee support.
- Respond to and follow up on tasks related to corrective action notices, job performance, and audit findings.
- Identify gaps in HR processes and make recommendations for improving policies and procedures.
- Assist with travel-related tasks involving visas, residency cards, and Air Travel Requests (ATRs).
- Manage tasks associated with property accountability.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- General knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and U.S. employment and labor law.
- General knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday experience is a plus).
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required; a master’s degree in business or human resources management is preferred. Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, consultation, and people skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage a team and ensure high levels of productivity and performance.
- Strong organizational, planning, and critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours.
- Advanced ability to handle multiple tasks and details in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Extremely flexible, with the ability to work through stressful situations professionally.
- Minimum of one (1) year of international experience.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- At least one year of international experience (preferred).
- Possess a valid home of record driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time and may require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs.
- Good eye and hand coordination is required.
- Constant use of sight, speech, hearing, frequent keying and use of computer and common office equipment is required.
- The work location is in an extremely hot, austere, and potentially hostile environment.
