The Product Specialist is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products and supporting business growth by engaging with healthcare professionals, executing marketing strategies, and ensuring strong product knowledge in the assigned territory and ensure the successful positioning of oncology products in the market. This role requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, and medical teams to ensure effective communication and alignment with business goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals using scientific and ethical promotional techniques.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Organize and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, workshops, and product campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet territory-specific sales and product performance targets.
- Provide ongoing product knowledge and scientific support to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, specifically in the oncology therapeutic area.
- Strong scientific understanding and ability to communicate complex clinical data effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
