Actively pursuing leads through various channels, such as industry research, referrals from existing clients, and participation in networking events or business forums to identify potential new clients and opportunities for the bank.
Staying informed about market trends, economic conditions, and competitors offerings to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
Identifying opportunities to sell additional products or services to existing clients, enhancing the overall relationship and revenue for the bank.
Assists and supports Chief Business Officer on various wide initiatives.
Manages client relationships in Iraq, maintains a detailed understanding of the client’s business, and identifies the client’s needs in order to market the appropriate products and services available at the bank to the client.
Acts as the primary point of contact and overall relationship manager for his/her portfolio of clients domiciled in Iraq.
Obtains and analyses all relevant financial and other information regarding his/her clients/ potential clients with a view to ensuring appropriate credit decisions are made in respect of products and services extended to the client at CBI, in line with Banks’s extant risk policies.
Presents and defends recommendations to the relevant Credit Committee.
Liaises with other NBK Group locations to monitor existing credit facilities referred by the Iraq to those offices and develops periodic progress reports to ensure regular, adequate and appropriate utilization and settlement.
Maintains thorough, accurate, and up to date client files, including full notes of customer calls /meetings, requests, and responses.
Assists in providing information related to corporate clients in Iraq to other NBK Group locations servicing those clients.
Conducts marketing efforts to build relationships with new clients in Iraq to support the growth of NBK’s client relationship footprint in Iraq.
Work with colleagues at the International Banking Group and across NBK’s country locations across the global network to gain an understanding of the products and services available at other NBK locations.
Resolves all client issues/queries in a timely manner to ensure “best-in-class” customer service.
