Position Overview:
Hexing Group, a global leader in smart energy and IoT solutions with a presence in over 90 countries, is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our MENA team. Based in Iraq, this role will drive strategic sales and market expansion across Iraq Market for smart meters, electric meters, water meters, AMI systems, and Smart Grid Solutions.
The ideal candidate will develop partnerships with utility companies, distributors, and system integrators, and play a key role in promoting smart cities and IoT-based metering technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
đź’Ľ Sales & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in smart metering, AMI, and Smart Grid Solutions.
- Expand Hexing’s footprint by building strong relationships with utility companies, utility distributors, and government entities.
- Lead end-to-end sales activities for electric meters, water meters, and smart meters, ensuring deep market penetration across the MENA region.
🧠Technical Sales & Solutions Integration
- Deliver detailed technical proposals and tender responses, aligned with client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Present Hexing’s portfolio of IoT Solutions, metering systems integration, and smart infrastructure to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to offer tailored, technically sound solutions.
🤝 Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the single point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring high satisfaction and timely resolution of commercial and technical concerns.
- Maintain strong post-sale relationships to encourage long-term engagement and repeat business.
đź“Š Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in smart metering and smart cities.
- Provide management with detailed reports and insights, leveraging CRM systems to record sales activities, leads, and pipeline development.
Qualifications:
🎓 Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record in utility sales in Iraq market is a must.
- Deep understanding of smart metering systems, IoT solutions, and modern smart utility operations.
- Proven track record in utility sales, especially within Levant markets (Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Syria), with strong knowledge of local customer needs, regulations, and business practices is great plus.
🛠️ Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of AMI, smart meters, and smart grid infrastructure.
- Ability to develop and deliver complex technical proposals and tenders.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English & Arabic
