Key Responsibilities of the External Expert for Monitoring and Evaluation
- Develop and implement a monitoring plan in collaboration with WED units to align with NAP pillars.
- Conduct outreach activities across Nineveh Governorate to engage stakeholders in the monitoring process.
- Oversee data collection and ensure accuracy in the documentation of monitoring findings.
- Organize bi-monthly feedback forums to validate findings and encourage stakeholder participation.
- Compile and analyze collected data to produce detailed monthly reports on monitoring outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and training to enumerators and other field staff involved in monitoring activities.
- Present monitoring findings to local authorities, CSOs, and other relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
- A university degree in social sciences, international development, public administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in humanitarian or development projects.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Experience working with CSOs, local NGOs, and other stakeholders in Nineveh Governorate.
- Proficiency in Arabic is required; English is an advantage.
- Advanced computer skills, including data analysis software, are preferred.
