Job Summary
This role involves assisting with project management, procurement of equipment and supplies, monitoring assets, and ensuring smooth communication with store managers. The assistant also supports in contractor progress monitoring, government document submissions, and provides operational support to stores as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist the Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive to actively participate in Maintenance & Operations meetings and discussions in new projects and to be responsible as project coordination.
- To assist the Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive in all aspects of new stores set-up, from planning stage up to store opening.
- To assist the Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive in procurement from existing vendors for store use equipment and non-trade supply of consumables.
- To assist the Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive to manage & monitoring the relevant assets such as machinery components & metal racking.
- To assist the Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive in the implementation of store renovation projects by monitoring contractor’s progress, and vendors in supplying issues.
- To maintain communication with Store Managers or Duty staffs on all operational matters and provide timely feedback to the Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive on outstanding matters.
- To visit government sector for some documents submission as instructed by Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive if needed.
- To provide operational support to stores as instructed by the Senior Maintenance & Operations Executive.
- Any other relevant tasks assigned by management as and when is needed.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail maintenance or building/complex maintenance.
- Excellent skills and knowledge in M&E.
- Basic skills and knowledge in Civil, refrigeration, and air conditioning.
- Have experience with new store setup or store refit is advantage.
- Own transport & willing to travel
- Fresh graduates with 0 experience are recommend to apply.
