Role Description
We are seeking a Corporate Relationship Manager to join our team in Erbil. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting new clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, executing financial analysis, and ensuring the proper implementation and management of loans. This role requires a proactive and results-driven professional with a strong background in banking and corporate credit.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and attract new corporate clients to expand the bank’s portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
Financial Analysis & Credit Assessment:
- Conduct financial analysis of corporate clients, assessing their creditworthiness and risk exposure.
- Prepare credit proposals and work closely with the credit department to structure financing solutions.
- Monitor client portfolios to ensure compliance with credit policies and mitigate potential risks.
Loan Implementation & Portfolio Management:
- Implement loans after approval, ensuring proper booking and execution.
- Follow up on loan utilization, repayments, and overall operations related to the managed portfolio.
- Monitor the performance of the portfolio and take proactive measures to address potential issues.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
- Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Trade Finance, and other departments to effectively manage the portfolio.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies while optimizing client service..
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or relationship management.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and lending principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required; Kurdish is a plus.
