The Role
Reporting to the Regional Rental Manager-Gulf, your mission is to achieve complete market coverage of the Iraq region grow the Oil-free air business and specialised applications business and develop the Steam business. You will ensure that the company goals are met in terms of sales volume, revenues, gross profit generation, market development, and territory coverage.
Key Responsibilities

- Quality and Safety: Drive and develop quality process improvements focusing on safety, operations, and customer service. Adhere to health and safety policies and other requirements related to equipment care.
- Market Expansion: Increase our presence and market share in downstream sectors and grow business in Midstream, Upstream, General Industry, Power sector, and other market segments.
- Market Trends: Monitor and report on market trends and activities. Interact with other departments and sales team members to adjust efforts and improve budgeted results.
- Marketing and Action Plans: Initiate, develop, and execute marketing and action plans for the targeted market.
- Business Opportunities: Identify, develop, and maximize business opportunities for new applications with existing and new customers.
- Sales Activities: Plan and prioritize sales activities in line with the marketing plan, forecast, and projections to achieve agreed sales targets through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.
- Salesforce Management: Organize, plan, and record all daily activities on Salesforce. Continuously update customer lists, contacts, activities, quotations, letters, contracts, and all other corresponding visit and action reports, including lost order reports.
- Customer Care: Continuously develop a customer care-driven culture and support the improvement of our rental and service response to customers and operational excellence.
- Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain good customer relationships, especially with key accounts, ensuring an excellent standard of service.
- Customer Solutions: Identify customer requirements and propose Total Solutions to meet those needs. Prepare quotations and follow up with customers to obtain orders.
- Innovation and Efficiency: Emphasize innovation, marketing automation, connectivity, and digitalization of operations to further optimize all processes for maximum efficiency.
- Digital Solutions: Focus on continuous improvement in the use of digital solutions in customer communications and relations.
- Collections and Receivables: Manage collections and receivables, maintaining outstanding balances below 80 days.

What do we expect of you?
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Iraq market, including Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream O&G Industries, as well as General Industry and Power & Desalination Plants.
- Technical Applications: Proficiency in applications of compressed air, including Industry Air Quality needs, as well as Nitrogen, Steam, and Temporary Power applications.
- Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a valuable additional skill.
- Technical Proficiency: Adequate knowledge of using MS Office tools, Salesforce, and PowerPoint presentation skills is required.
Experience Requirements
- We are looking for candidates with an excellent sales record from a similar position, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rental sales of high-quality industrial machines.
- Experience with medium and HP Air Compressors, both Oil-free and oil-injected, is preferred.
- Previous experience with Atlas Copco will be considered a definite plus.
Educational Requirements
- The successful candidate must hold a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and be fluent in English.
