Your Mission
The HR and Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and administrative functions within the company. This role will ensure the smooth operation of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management, while also managing office administration and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in HR practices and tech industry administration, with a focus on
supporting the dynamic needs of a ride-hailing company.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent, especially in tech and operational roles & manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are integrated smoothly.
- Foster a positive working environment, handling any employee relations issues, with care and sensitivity, while leading employee engagement initiatives aligning with company goals.
- Oversee the performance review process and support managers in conducting performance reviews, giving feedback, and addressing underperformance.
- Identify skill gaps and arrange necessary training or development programs for employees.
- Develop career paths and succession plans for critical roles within the company.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, especially in the fast-paced ride-hailing and food delivery industries.
- Manage employee records, contracts, and benefits in accordance with legal requirements.
- Oversee the administration of payroll, benefits, and employee perks.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation structures for tech and operational staff.
Administrative Management
- Manage all aspects of office administration, including supplies, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure smooth operation of the office and that all IT and support functions are running efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintain a safe working environment for employees.
- Provide administrative support to senior management, including meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and handling confidential matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR and administration, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the tech industry or ride-hailing/logistics sectors is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, local labor laws, and administrative procedures.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- High proficiency in HR software (e.g., Personio, ZenHR) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Other Requirements
- Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
