- Develop and implement effective HR strategies and processes that support the overall business objectives and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to store managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee performance management activities, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and development plans.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including orientation programs for new hires.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices and make recommendations for process improvements and policy updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role, preferably within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
