The Project Assistant will support the coordination and implementation of development projects, with a primary focus on community outreach, sustainable housing, green skills training, and entrepreneurship support. The role involves logistics coordination, participant engagement, follow-up on project activities, and assisting with communications and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in organizing project activities including awareness sessions, technical training, and competitions.
- Coordinate and conduct field visits, meetings, and events.
- Maintain consistent communication with project beneficiaries, trainers, and local partners.
- Community Outreach & Engagement: Contribute to the implementation of community campaigns and information dissemination.
- Work with community leaders and partner organizations to mobilize participation.
- Handle inquiries through phone calls, social media, and in-person channels.
- Data Management & Reporting: Track participation, collect feedback, and help compile activity reports.
- Support monitoring and evaluation by maintaining project records and following up with beneficiaries.
- Training & Event Support: Support the implementation training sessions, design competitions, and prototyping workshops.
- Coordinate with mentors, trainers, and participants to ensure smooth implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental studies, social sciences, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in community outreach, project coordination, or development work.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
Preferred:
- Experience with donor-funded projects
- Background or interest in climate adaptation, sustainability, or youth entrepreneurship.
- Knowledge of Mosul’s local community dynamics.
Duration: 12 Months (Including 3 months probation period, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs)
