Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to organize and facilitate 7 Business Forums across Sinjar district and surrounding areas. The forums aim to connect Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with buyers, sellers, and key value chain actors to strengthen local business partnerships and promote economic development.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of these forums, from planning and participant coordination to on-the-ground facilitation. The ideal candidate should have a Strong background in business training, market linkages, or SME development, as well as fluency in the local language of Sinjar to effectively engage with participants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning & Coordination
- Oversee the logistics for 7 business forums across target locations.
- Coordinate with local partners, business leaders, and stakeholders to ensure successful forum execution.
- Work closely with Mosul Space to align on the forum’s goals and structure.
2. Forum Facilitation & Engagement
- Act as the main facilitator or support speaker during the forums, guiding discussions and ensuring smooth execution.
- Deliver business development insights and encourage knowledge-sharing among participants.
- Lead group discussions and business matching activities to foster partnerships.
- Encourage SMEs to share success stories and practical strategies for business growth.
3. Logistics & Administration
- Ensure venues are properly set up and all necessary materials (presentations, handouts, etc.) are prepared.
- Oversee the timing and structure of each session, ensuring that discussions remain productive and within schedule.
4. Reporting & Follow-up
- Document key takeaways, participant feedback, and business connections formed during the forums.
- Prepare summary reports on forum outcomes, challenges, and recommendations for future sessions.
- Suggest actionable next steps for sustaining business linkages beyond the forums.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✅Must be a resident of Sinjar with a strong understanding of the local business environment.
✅ Business Training & Facilitation Experience: Prior experience in SME development, business coaching, or market linkage facilitation.
✅ Local Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in the local language of Sinjar to engage effectively with participants.
✅ Strong Communication & Networking Skills: Ability to engage with diverse business stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions.
✅ Event Coordination Skills: Experience in organizing business forums, training sessions, or networking events.
✅ Flexibility & Mobility: Willingness to travel across Sinjar district to conduct forums in multiple locations.
✅ Reporting & Documentation: Ability to capture key takeaways and prepare structured reports on forum outcomes.
Duration & Compensation:
- Total Work Duration: Approximately 7 days (spread across forum dates and preparation).
- Payment: Based on the number of forums conducted (to be discussed upon hiring).
