The HR maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Recruitment
- Recruit staff , this includes developing , preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates.
- Sourcing candidates that match the desired skills.
- Screening the candidates by conducting telephonic or personal interviews.
- Conduct first interview with the candidate, and follow the recruitment process
- Maintaining and updating the database of the candidates.
- Understanding the requirement and accordingly drafting a job description.
Induction and On- Boarding
- Offer appointment letter to the selected candidate.
- Collect and complete all visa and residence documents and process in coordination with the legal department.
- Prepare filing relevant document of the new joiner as required.
- Give a description on the policies, procedures and culture followed by the company.
- Introduce the new joiner to the team and supervisor and/ or manager.
- Explaining the mode of communication
- Coordinate with the logistic/IT for the preparation of the office, accommodation and assets.
HR Policies and HR Manual
- Work closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assists GM to understand and implement policies and procedures.
- Drafting and updating all related to HR manual, policies and structure.
- Develop and implement policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management
- Prepare staff handbooks
Attendance and Leave Records
- Monitor daily attendance and Investigate and understand causes for staff absences.
- Monitor scheduled absences such as holidays or travel and coordinate actions to ensure the staff absence has adequately covered off to ensure continuity of work.
- Filing the leave forms and keeping a track of the leaves taken
- Recommend solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties
Performance Management
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
- Provide basic counseling to staff that have performance related obstacles
- Design and implement performance appraisal form and policy
- Helping the managers do performance appraisal in a better way by adopting better appraisal practices.
Employee Engagement
- Keep track on employee turnover and exit rate
- Take initiatives to engage the staff to their work
- Take the surveys in order to understand their engagement level and accordingly takes actions.
- Planning events or activities regularly or on some occasions, getting those approved by the GM.
- Interpret and advise on employment law
Workforce management
- Handle the staff so that people are not dissatisfied with each other
- Handle cross culture things.
- Handle other related issues.
- Conduct investigation and implement disciplinary procedure.
Exit formalities
- Conduct exit interview of the candidates who are resigning.
- Try to get constructive feedback for company and try to implement the corrective measures for them.
- Help the person to be relieved properly.
- Issue relieving letter and letter of experience.
- Do the full and final settlement for the person.
Compensation and benefits
- Design the salary structure for employees
- Administer payroll and maintain employee records
Training and development
- Plans and sometimes delivers training – including inductions for new staff.
- Analyzes training needs in conjunction with departmental managers and coordinates with training academies.
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
- Promote workplace safety
- Other tasks required
Desired skills and experience:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Psychology or Any related field from a reputable university.
- 4-5 year experience in HR and of interacting with all levels of management.
- Team player and excellent motivator
- Supervisory and team building skills
- Excellent communication skills orally and in written coupled an advisory role.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Discretion and ethical attitude
- Excellent knowledge on employment law.
