Are you a well-rounded and experienced Accountant looking for a challenging opportunity in a manufacturing environment? Qaiwan Group is currently seeking a professional Accountant for our Bahadirlar Factory. This key role involves handling all aspects of accounting including treasury, finance, auditing, cashiering, and end-to-end financial operations.
Role and Responsibilities:
A. Manage full-cycle accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
B. Oversee cash flow and treasury functions, ensuring proper monitoring of liquidity and bank transactions.
C. Handle cash operations including cashiering, petty cash control, and daily bank deposits.
D. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with corporate and legal standards.
E. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
F. Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
G. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
H. Ensure full compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, including filing and reporting.
I. Track and manage fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory-related accounting.
J. Provide support during external audits, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
K. Perform bank reconciliations, vendor payment scheduling, and coordination of payroll-related accounting.
L. Implement and improve internal control procedures to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
M. Coordinate with other departments (procurement, logistics, production) to ensure accurate and aligned reporting.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
i. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
ii. Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a factory.
iii. Proven experience using Odoo ERP system for accounting and financial operations (required).
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP (finance/accounting modules).
- Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- High integrity in handling confidential financial information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication in Kurdish and English (Arabic is a plus).
