Job title: CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
Contract type: International (expatriate) assignment. Fixed-term, 28/28 rotational contract.
Language requirements: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
At Eni, we are looking for a Contract Administrator within Eni Iraq B.V. in Basra, Iraq. You will be administering established contracts, in accordance with the Contract Management Plan and approved procedures, to achieve delivery of contractual obligations to agreed standards. Additionally, you will clearly explain contract requirements, terms, and conditions to stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of compliance. You will apply necessary administrative processes and effectively monitor contract performance against agreed terms.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main Responsibilities
- Administer contracts in accordance with approved contract management plans and procedures, and update contract details to maintain the integrity of contract information.
- Manage suppliers/contractors to ensure goods, services, and projects are delivered in line with agreed terms and conditions.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to identify and minimize risks and maximize contract value.
- Proactively identify and manage contract risks to meet organizational obligations and achieve planned outcomes.
- Explain contract requirements, terms, and conditions, and the need for compliance to stakeholders in a meaningful way.
- Apply required administrative processes and effectively monitor contract performance against agreed terms.
- Monitor contract management processes to ensure they are open, transparent, and competitive, and that contract performance is effective. Escalate contract management issues when required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of contract management plans by sourcing documents and established contracts, as well as monitoring performance and addressing non-performance, to achieve required contract outcomes.
- Perform duties in strict compliance with the company's HSE policies and procedures, applying the HSE Integrated Management System and the HSE Management System Guidelines, and providing proper HSE conditions of work to everyone.
Skills And Experience Required
- Extensive experience in contract administration.
- Advanced knowledge of post-award contract management processes and general knowledge of pre-award activities.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners.
- Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Solid knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- High professional standards and personal integrity.
