Contract type: International (expatriate) assignment – fixed-term, 28/28 Rotational contract. You will be required to relocate for this position.
Language requirements: Fluency in written and spoken English; fluency in written and spoken Arabic is an advantage.
At Eni, we are looking for a Document Control Expert within Eni Iraq B.V. in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for supporting the activities within the Project Execution Unit and assisting the Project Service Manager.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate document management activities throughout all project phases.
- Organize and manage the Electronic Document Management (EDM) system, including setup, access control, implementation, training, and user support.
- Organize, codify, collect, control, distribute, and archive all project documents (technical, administrative, and contractual) exchanged within the company, with contractors, and other stakeholders (partners, authorities, etc.).
- Ensure technical alignment of project documents with company requirements.
- Prepare reports and KPIs on document management activities to monitor time, costs, and quality.
- Develop and review standards and methods for project document management.
- Disseminate and ensure implementation of company document management requirements across all projects.
- Contribute to the improvement and modification of the company's EDM system.
Skills And Experience Required
- Proven experience in document management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Electronic Document Management (EDM) systems.
- Knowledge and experience in the Oil and Gas industry (market and business) is desirable.
- Experience in oil and gas projects is preferred.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; fluency in written and spoken Arabic is an advantage.
- Understanding of communication processes and relevant tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong ability to maintain confidential information.
