Purpose of the Position
Our The IT support, supports, troubleshoots and maintains all IT resources of the company, software, hardware and network. Works as helpdesk, and data management for customers and employees. Updates supervisor on status of projects or technical issues. Exercises judgment and creativity in selecting and applying pf ocedur es correctly and determines when to refer problems to the supervisor or next level of support. Performs any other duties and back office works as assigned. Perform inhouse sold wale development as required.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Troubleshoots and maintain all IT resources of the company; software, hardware and network
- Works as first line support and helpdesk for customers and employees
- Communication (Email, phone, and verbal) with customer and internal departments of the company to provide answers to technical issues related to company and/or its products
- Provide reporting and updates to the supervisor on status of projects or technical issues
- Must have proven experience in web development, database designing and websites administrating
- Provide user support for packaged and in-house software
- Installs, test, and maintains all types of cables and/or wiring found in a networked environment
- Test and evaluate products and applications associated with departmental administrative applications.
- Help in developing new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency and improve employee and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for research, data coordination, reporting and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information systems
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in information technology in IT support/assistant, application development or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT General Computers, including information security, customer support and helpdesk, Information system operations, networks, database, system software, hardware
- Experience evaluating system controls associated with complex business applications
- Familiar with SQL Database queries
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Satisfactory language skills in all Kurdish, Arabic and English (are must)
- Good analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Proven organizational skills, including time management
