Data Analyst Key Responsibilities:
Data Visualization & Reporting
- Craft and design data-driven visualizations using BI tools to transform data into meaningful stories and provide actionable insights for various departments.
- Publish reports on the company’s Power BI and Tableau reporting servers or BI Cloud, ensuring seamless accessibility and efficient data distribution.
- Generate and distribute reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and on-demand basis to different departments, catering to their specific needs.
Data Processing & Engineering
- Extract, clean, and manipulate database schemas from production databases using SQL, ensuring data accuracy and meaningful data retrieval.
- Prepare and structure data for use in BI tools, maintaining quality and ensuring it meets business requirements.
- Develop and execute query jobs to process, transform, and prepare data for reporting and analysis.
- Design and create new tables and views tailored for BI tools, ensuring efficient data modeling for analysis.
- Coordinate with IT and tech teams for data infrastructure improvements and performance optimizations.
Collaboration & Business Insights
- Work closely with other departments to understand domain knowledge and deliver meaningful, actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all reports and dashboards.
- Monitor key data trends and proactively notify targeted departments of any discrepancies, sales anomalies, or critical insights.

- A deep understanding of the industry and business operations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar role, showcasing successful data analysis projects.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
